- I was well aware of it, and it doesn't count as a publication of the Standard
- in my opinion.

- The moderator of comp.lang.c.moderated tried hard to divert attention away
- from that book (probably should have mentioned it by name).

- Does Osbourne/McGraw-Hill somehow have a monopoly of distribution rights to
- the text of the Standard? Is the publishing industry stupid enough to assume
- that the Schildt book satifies the market for distribution of the Standard?

- We are talking about one of the most used computer languages to date.
- Why can't I buy a simple copy of the Standard for that language at my local
- technical bookstore?
